Masculine Card!!

Wow do I need some more masculine cards!! Normally I LOVE making girly cards, but I need to learn to love masculine ones too :) I am finding more ways to spice up these cards so I look forward to making them!! This card is a Birthday Card, but simply by changing the sentiment, you can use this technique and these colors for may more occasions!!!

This cards background was done using the Stampin' Write Markers, and a clear block!! Super easy, super cute (or I guess cool for the guys )  All you do is take any one of the clear blocks...whatever size works for your project. Then take any colors of the markers...lightest to darkest and scribble them onto the block.

The colors of markers I used was:
Bashful Blue
Baja Breeze
Marina Mist
Tempting Turqoise
Island Indigo
Midnight Muse

Card stock was Whisper White (#100730 ) Crumb Cake (#120953), and Chocolate Chip (#102128)

The Stamp Set I used for this is Clockworks (#127292 for the clear and # 127290 for wood mount)

The sentiment comes from the Wishes Your Way Set found in the new Spring Catalog (# 129156-c and 129153-w)

I also used Midnight Muse, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake Classic Ink

Post-It-Notes work great to help "mask" around the blues. Place the post its all around the blues, then stamp any image you desire...this will keep the outside white area clean!!!
