Watercoloring!!

This is big business for me.....I have been scared to death of water coloring but after trying new things lately, I think I may actually like it :) So I'm still new, and I know I'm not great (yet) but it is coming along!! Check out my creation!!

The items that were used for this card are:
Crumb Cake, Primrose Petals, Island Indigo, Very Vanilla card stock plus Watercolor Paper
The images are from the Everybunny Stamp Set,, stamped in Black Staz On (always use Staz On when water-coloring...it doesn't bleed when it gets wet)

Beautiful Sympathy Card!

Hello Creative Friends! Today's Card is made from 1/2  sheet of Card stock!! Sometimes I am in the mood for easy cards, but most days I love cards with LOTS of layers and bling!! When I got this Stamp Set.....Stippled Blossoms #126745 (for Wood mount), I just knew it needed nothing else!! This "2 Step" Stamping has become one of my favorite things...I was scared at first that I could not get the "top" image stamped directly over the "bottom" one....WELL....that is the beauty of these sets, you don't have to!! I stamp my "outline" image first, in this case it is Rose Red for the flowers, and Old Olive for the leaves. Next take a lighter color (Pink Pirouette for flowers and Certainly Celery for the leaves) and the coordinating image and stamp on top...voila, a beautiful, simple yet striking card!! I did add a sentiment from the "So Sorry" Set with black Staz On. I also added some of the tiny pearls, just because I had to add some bling:)

More Masculine..."The Open Sea"

Hello friends! This is one of the cards I made a while back, but had to share!! I am in LOVE with "The Open Sea" Stamp Set!!

The Colors I have used on this card I picked up from the Stampin Up's Color Coach....an AWESOME product!! Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy and Riding Hood Red was the color combo. The embossing folder is the Stripes...I think this is the coolest...you can make faux paneling!! I think this card looks like it is from the inside of a ship peering out and seeing another ship sailing by!! Did you notice the faux wallpaper??? Use the same color ink as your paper and the "ledger" stamp from the open sea set. Four of the mini brads finish this card nicely!

Simple yet striking Thank you Card!

This is such an easy FAST card!! I used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate Chip card stock. The Stamp Set is called "Tea Shoppe" from the Everyday Catalog. Ink is Chocolate Chip. I embossed the bottom of the card with the Scallop Envelope from the "Adorning Accents Folder" (this is a super cute set of three folders for only $8.95!!.) I also added a little softness by placing a fork bow on the base of the cup.....the ribbon is Soft Suede Taffeta. I just LOVE the tones of this card!!!!

All Dressed Up....SO MUCH FUN!!

I got to play with the All Dressed Up Framelits and Stamp Set this weekend.....look what I did!! If you have questions on what Stampin Up Products I used just leave me a comment...too many pictures to talk about them all :)  I knew this set was going to be fun, but WOW it is WAY FUN and the possibilities are endless!!!! Pinwheel Sizzlit...oh so cute!!

Yes, you can make pinwheels without this awesome, and very inexpensive die, but why when you can make one cut in no time at all with this Sizzlits Pinwheel Die!?!?!?!?!?!!!  The Paper that the pinwheels are made out of is called "Tea for Two Designer Series Paper" and it is in the spring catalog. I added a mini brad to all three centers to complete them...super fun!!!

This card that I made is also using one of the cutest embossing folders EVER! It is the Cloudy Day Folder and both the die and the folder are in the new Spring Catalog (visit www.b_a_stamper.stampinup.net to see the online catalog if you don't have one!!)

The Greeting is from the Stamp Set called "Wishes Your Way" and it goes PERFECTLY with the Pinwheels and the Clouds!! I think these items are a match made in heaven!!! On the banner I have added a button from the Vintage Trinkets found in the Everyday Catalog.

Masculine Card!!

Wow do I need some more masculine cards!! Normally I LOVE making girly cards, but I need to learn to love masculine ones too :) I am finding more ways to spice up these cards so I look forward to making them!! This card is a Birthday Card, but simply by changing the sentiment, you can use this technique and these colors for may more occasions!!!

This cards background was done using the Stampin' Write Markers, and a clear block!! Super easy, super cute (or I guess cool for the guys )  All you do is take any one of the clear blocks...whatever size works for your project. Then take any colors of the markers...lightest to darkest and scribble them onto the block.

The colors of markers I used was:
Bashful Blue
Baja Breeze
Marina Mist
Tempting Turqoise
Island Indigo
Midnight Muse

Card stock was Whisper White (#100730 ) Crumb Cake (#120953), and Chocolate Chip (#102128)

The Stamp Set I used for this is Clockworks (#127292 for the clear and # 127290 for wood mount)

The sentiment comes from the Wishes Your Way Set found in the new Spring Catalog (# 129156-c and 129153-w)

I also used Midnight Muse, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake Classic Ink

Post-It-Notes work great to help "mask" around the blues. Place the post its all around the blues, then stamp any image you desire...this will keep the outside white area clean!!!
